A torn-up roofline after a storm isn't a "get to it next week" problem, and we don't treat it like one — Roof Repair Smedway answers, scopes the damage, and dispatches a crew across Declo fast.
Roof Repair Smedway grew out of Declo, ID job sites, not a corporate rollout plan — that's still how we staff every Roof Leak Repair crew we send to Declo.
Ask to see our Declo, ID license and insurance certificate and you'll have it in your hand before the estimate even starts.
A roof repair that's "close enough" tends to fail again within a year, usually during the exact storm it was supposed to handle. We don't build that way.
Every lead installer carries current Declo, ID credentials.
Someone answers, every time, day or night.
You approve a number before the crew touches your roof.
Crews dispatched from within Declo, ID, not another region entirely.
A roof rarely just fails one day — it usually spends months quietly showing signs that get written off as cosmetic.
None of the six signs below require an emergency call on their own, but each one is worth a scheduled inspection before it turns into something bigger.
Heavy granule loss usually means the shingles are nearing the end of their service life.
Shingles that curl at the edges have lost flexibility and are more likely to crack in the next windstorm.
Daylight visible through the attic roof boards means water has the same path in.
A spreading brown ring on a ceiling almost always means water is tracking in from somewhere on the roof.
Rooms that run noticeably hotter than the rest of the house often trace back to roof or attic issues.
A bare patch after high wind is a direct gap in your roof's weather barrier that needs covering right away.
We split our work into specific service lanes because a wind-lifted shingle and a full system replacement need completely different crews and timelines.
Read through the categories and you'll usually recognize your own roof problem in one of them — that's intentional, since we scope calls the same way we've organized this list.
Active leaks get priority dispatch — a temporary cover first, a proper repair as soon as the crew can get materials on-site.
From a few cracked shingles to a complete tear-off, residential jobs get scoped against manufacturer spec, not a rough guess.
Commercial roofs run different membrane systems entirely, and our crews are trained specifically on TPO, EPDM, and modified bitumen.
A full tear-off strips the roof to the decking, replaces any damaged boards, and rebuilds with new underlayment and shingles to current code.
Post-storm inspections give homeowners documented evidence, useful whether or not a claim gets filed.
If your roof has an architectural quirk, we scope it personally rather than forcing a standard fix.
Four steps, no surprises in between — here's exactly what happens after you pick up the phone.
Call +1-844-212-9199, describe the issue, and dispatch routes it to the nearest available Declo crew.
The inspection covers decking, flashing, and ventilation, not just the obvious visible damage.
Every figure is documented in writing — nothing verbal, nothing vague.
A final walkthrough confirms everything matches the agreed scope.
If you've been burned by a roofing company before, these are the specific things we do differently, not just a promise that we're "better."
Crews based in Declo, ID reach Declo faster than out-of-area companies quoting a multi-week wait.
Every estimate is itemized so you know exactly what you're paying for.
Certifications stay current so material warranties remain valid after installation.
Every job includes a written labor warranty separate from the shingle manufacturer's coverage.
We've worked with enough local carriers to know what actually speeds up claim approval.
Some roofs need a full reroof; plenty just need one honest repair.
Every job closes with a written workmanship guarantee, separate from whatever the material manufacturer already covers — if something's wrong, we come back and fix it.
If something unexpected turns up mid-job, like hidden decking damage, we flag it and get your approval before it changes your bill.
None of this is a marketing line — it's how every Declo job actually gets closed out, warranty paperwork included.
